Hi, I’m Sydnie!

I’m a painter, photographer, and potter with a BFA in Fine Arts from Miami University, where my love for visual storytelling first took root. In addition to my BFA, I am a certified art educator. For the past four years, I’ve shared that passion as an art teacher—helping others explore creativity through ceramics, textiles, and darkroom photography.

Now based out of my home studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, I create work inspired by the quiet beauty of national parks. Much of my art begins with photographs I take during my visits—capturing fleeting light, color, and natural textures that later find their way into clay, canvas, or print. Each piece reflects organic forms and earthy color stories, honoring the raw, grounding connection between art and the wild landscapes that inspire it.

Meet Wookie, the real boss of the studio — I just work here.
